For many generations of mankind it was sufficient to wear a watch on which one could read the current time on a circle. For us modern people this is totally inadequate since our daily routines consist of a diversity of planned periods that we need to overview and manage. In a usual calendar app there is a lot of scrolling necessary in order to get an overview of the events of a day or a week. Jiffies Lite transforms the calendar into the small size of a watch and presents your appointments in their calendar colors.
To display your daily appointments the most space-saving, Jiffies Lite draws two circles for the 24 hours of the day: an inner circle which is ranging from midnight to noon, and an outer circle continuing the interior until the end of the day. Around those circles your events are shown in form of circular segments. All-day events would completely fill the two circles on the New Clock, therefore they are displayed in text form outside the clock in a scrollable area.
